Islands is a surfer, beach themed, family restaurant with a unique spin on classic food. The menu has appetizers, burgers, tacos, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. There is a kid menu for those little ones 12 and under with mac and cheese and chicken tender options. Kids get crayons and a coloring map to play with, too! It is a very casual and inviting environment. All of the staff is outfitted in Island attire: shorts, Hawaiian style shirts, tennis shoes. The food is delicious and tasty and reasonably priced, most dishes under $10.00. The burgers can be ordered in their ground beef form or a substitution of a turkey or veggie pattie is allowed. They all come with the fresh cut Island fries. I like them with a side of ranch dressing.

There are sandwiches such as the Sandpiper (a chicken sandwich) and the Moa Kai (tuna). The soft tacos come with a side of beans, but the restaurant will allow you to select fries or a salad or any other side for your meal. There are also salads on the menu and a section called Paradise Bikini Beach featuring items on the menu that are under 680 calories for those who are watching what they eat. As for desserts, they have smoothies, shakes, sundaes, and brownies to top off your meal.

Islands restaurants are located in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii. The restaurant decor features corrugated tin and light colored wood. The tables have surfboard designs on them and there are tiki masks and colorful ceramic birds and fish hanging from the ceiling. Islands also offers curbside pickup for takeout orders.
