We think we can help, considering we know a lot of moms. TisBest reached out to a handful of moms and asked, \u201cWhat do you want most for Mothers Day?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>What Moms have in common<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Normally one might think of flowers, jewelry, candles, etc. on an occasion like this. Some of the moms mentioned receiving flowers last year. But the one commonality across all the moms was that they <strong>DON\u2019T want STUFF<\/strong>. Maybe the events of 2020 have made them reflect on what\u2019s really important to them. For example Cindy, an engineer from Chicago, says, \u201cI don&#8217;t really find myself craving any special gift for mother&#8217;s day.\u201d Dee, a dentist from Illinois, just wants her \u201cfamily to be safe and healthy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>So then, just what DO moms want THIS YEAR?<\/b><\/h4>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tisbest.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/mothersdaywordcloud-768x576-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4725\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tisbest.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/mothersdaywordcloud-768x576-1.png 768w, https:\/\/www.tisbest.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/mothersdaywordcloud-768x576-1-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember those craft type items we all made in school \u2014 hand and footprints accentuated to create butterflies, or seedlings planted in a mini-pot with our photo pasted on the outside? Apparently, moms are concerned they will miss out on these sweet mementos this year. It\u2019s been a paradigm-shifting year and moms are realizing how much they appreciate those efforts. Priyanka, a homemaker from Seattle, says, \u201cI enjoy the little paper <strong>notes and handmade crafts<\/strong> with the most innocently crafted words in them that I receive.<\/span><br><br><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other gift ideas in these moms\u2019 responses included <strong>low-key experience gifts<\/strong>. One mother wants some alone time with peace and quiet, while another wishes she could go to a restaurant with her own mother.
