This page provides information and resources to charities that received a distribution from TisBest Philanthropy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why did TisBest send us a donation?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>TisBest issued a donation check because one or more people directed funds on their TisBest Charity Gift Card to your organization. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TisBest mailed us a letter about a donation. How do I access it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>View our <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.tisbest.org\/help\/access-your-donation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">step by step guide with visuals<\/a> to access your donation.&nbsp;<br><br>After you&#8217;ve followed the letter instructions you\u2019ll have access to your digital donation check, and your email address will be linked to your Charity Dashboard. Then the next time there\u2019s a new digital donation check available we\u2019ll email notification to the \u201cDigital Check Recipient\u201d listed on your Charity Dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a TisBest Charity Gift Card?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>TisBest Charity Gift Cards are gifts sold and managed by TisBest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The cards are donations to charity that anyone can purchase and give to someone else as a gift. People who receive a TisBest Charity Gift Card get to choose which charities will receive the funds. Learn more about TisBest on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tisbest.org\/about\/charity-gift-card\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">About Charity Gift Cards<\/a> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Will we be getting more checks from TisBest?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If Charity Gift Card recipients choose to direct more money to your organization in the future, you will receive another check. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When are donations sent to selected charities?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our nonprofit issues digital donation checks to charities quarterly. Grouping the donations this way helps us manage costs so we can send 100% of the donations to selected charities and keep our process sustainable.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I find our charity profile page on TisBest?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find and select charities from over 1.8 million nonprofit options across the U.S. by using our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tisbest.org\/charities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Search Tool<\/a>. Find your charity by typing in the name or EIN in the search field located at the top of our list of charities. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can we add content to our TisBest profile page?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you were mailed a letter with instructions to access your TisBest donation check, you can follow those instructions to access your Charity Dashboard. Once you&#8217;ve claimed your Charity Dashboard, you&#8217;ll find a link to it at the top of your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tisbest.org\/profile\/\">account page<\/a>. On your Charity Dashboard you can update your charity\u2019s profile page with a photo, logo,&nbsp;and short description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do we update our charity\u2019s address?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We source charity name and address records directly from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/charities-non-profits\/exempt-organizations-business-master-file-extract-eo-bmf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the IRS tax-exempt organization state file<\/a>. If the address displayed on your charity\u2019s TisBest profile page is inaccurate, we recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/forms-pubs\/about-form-8822-b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">updating your address with the IRS using form 8822-B<\/a>. When the IRS updates their records, the changes will be reflected on our website shortly thereafter. &nbsp;<br><br>However, if you need to update your charity&#8217;s mailing address (which we keep on file internally, separate from the display address), please send us the request from an email address associated with your charity website.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where can we send a receipt for this donation?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Please know that donation receipts have already been issued to all the financial donors. TisBest (which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) issues donation receipts to purchasers when they buy the TisBest Charity Gift Cards. After gift recipients use the cards to choose charities, TisBest (which is also a nonprofit) sends donations to those respective charities.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>The donation you received is from TisBest Philanthropy, a Washington state nonprofit, EIN 20-8630809. If you need to send a donation receipt you may email it to donationreceipts@tisbest.org.
