Lowes is a do it yourself home improvement store. They carry appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers to little toaster ovens, microwaves, and blenders. Heating and cooling needs can be met by picking up a fan or two in the summer or a few space heaters (electric or radiant). There are plenty of cleaning supplies in the store. Tough grease cleaners for the BBQ, heavy duty hand cleaners, or laundry detergent. The Home Decor section has clocks, framed canvas, murals, mirrors, and furniture pieces. I picked up a couple of nice looking stools for a kitchen island at Lowes. The Kitchen section has appliances, sinks, counter tops, cabinets, and disposals.
Lowes has lighting for the ceiling, desk lamps, or lamp bases and shades sold separately. The Bath section carries faucets, sinks, shower rods, towel bars, cabinets, and tubs. You can find some easy to install water saver faucets from the Plumbing section. From pipes and fittings to minor repair kits for washing machines, dishwashers, faucets, it has got everything you need. The Paint section carries interior and exterior paint and supplies: buckets, rollers, brushes, drop cloths. You can get help from the paint center in the store in choosing your colors.
The building materials for larger projects: lumber, roofing material, drywall, decking, and more. The hardware available includes door knob locks, mounts, and fasteners. They carry electrical supplies such as crimping and cutting tools, wire, cable, breakers, and wall plates. If you need new flooring, there is a wide selection of tile, stone, laminate, or vinyl to choose. Windows include shuttered, skylights, and storm windows. The doors range from front entry and interior to screen and garage doors.
The outdoor section for Lowe's could be its own separate store. The plant and lawn care area carries insect and pest control sprays and bait traps, fertilizer, wheel barrows, and sprayers, and gloves as well as bird feeders, ceramic pots, flowers, trees, waterfalls and more.
There are outdoor BBQs, patio furniture, fire pits, fencing, and dog houses to complete the backyard. Finally, if you need tools, Tool World section is the place for power tools like cordless drills, power saws,
or manual tools like hammers and pliers. Lowes has installation services and in store pick up available if you order online.
