| Panera Bread is both a Bakery and a Cafe. The Cafe menu features salads, soups, sandwiches, paninis, stew, and pasta. If you can't decide on one item, you can go with their "You Pick Two" option where you pick a 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad or soup. The Cafe menu also has fruit smoothies, frozen mocha, mango, and carmel drinks, espresso, tea, lattes, teas, and hot chocolate.
The Bakery Menu has hot breakfast sandwiches, bagels with cream cheese spreads like honey walnut or wild blueberry, oatmeal, granola, and baked egg souffles. They also sell bakery items such as pastries, scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, sweet rolls, specialty and artisan breads. There is a kids menu available with items such as mac 'n' cheese and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Panera Bread is involved with the community through its Operation Dough Nation activities. They match customer donations of cash and distribute them to local non-profit organizations, they donate all unsold bread to hunger relief organizations and a Scrip fundraising program. You can also join mypanera and earn rewards for items such as complimentary bakery items.
